Privacy Policy

Effective 8 September 2026

This policy explains what personal information Grobler Digital handles through this website, why we use it, and the choices available to you.

01

Who we are

Grobler Digital is a software engineering business based in Uvongo, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. For questions about this policy or your personal information, email info@groblerdigital.com.

02

Information we collect

When you submit the contact form, we collect the name, email address, and project details you provide. The form also contains an invisible anti-spam field used to identify automated submissions. We do not ask for account passwords, payment card details, or sensitive personal information through this website.

03

How we use information

  • Respond to enquiries and communicate about requested services.
  • Understand project requirements and prepare quotations.
  • Protect the website and contact form from abuse.
  • Maintain necessary business records and meet legal obligations.
04

Service providers and sharing

Cloudflare hosts the website and processes contact form requests. Resend provides the email delivery service used to send your enquiry to Grobler Digital. These providers may process information on our behalf under their own security, privacy, and retention practices.

We do not sell, rent, or trade email addresses or other personal information.

We share information only with service providers needed to operate this website and respond to enquiries, or when disclosure is required by law.

05

Retention

We keep enquiries only for as long as reasonably needed to respond, prepare a quotation, provide requested services, maintain necessary business records, resolve disputes, or comply with legal obligations. Information that is no longer required will be deleted or securely disposed of where reasonably practical.

06

Cookies and local storage

This website does not currently use analytics, advertising, tracking cookies, or other non-essential cookies. Your browser may store a local theme preference so the site remembers whether you selected light or dark mode. This preference stays in your browser and is not used to identify or track you. If our use of cookies or tracking technologies changes materially, we will update this policy and introduce an appropriate notice or consent mechanism where required.

07

Security and international processing

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards intended to protect personal information. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Cloudflare, Resend, or their infrastructure providers may process information outside South Africa. Where this occurs, we rely on the safeguards and contractual protections offered by those providers and take reasonable steps appropriate to the information being processed.

08

Your choices and rights

Subject to applicable law, including the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA), you may ask whether we hold personal information about you and request access, correction, deletion, or objection to certain processing. Email us to make a request. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information where the law permits or requires it. You may also lodge a complaint with South Africa's Information Regulator.

09

Children, links, and policy changes

This website is intended for business enquiries and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the contact form.

Links to third-party websites are governed by those websites' own privacy practices. We may update this policy when our services, providers, or legal obligations change. The effective date above will show the latest revision.
